When is Henry Hill Farm/Barn available for rent?

The farm and barn is generally available for rent from May to November given that the main part of the Second Floor is unheated except for the Guest Suites, which are heated and available for rent year round. We can extend the times of rental by making arrangements to heat the main part of the Second Floor with portable heating systems at an additional charge. We encourage you to book events at least six months in advance to ensure the dates you prefer. To reserve space, you must execute an Event Rental Contract and provide the necessary deposit to confirm your reservations.

 

What kinds of events can be held at the farm?

We host parties and rent the barn and farm for wedding and all other special events such as birthday parties, baby showers, bar/bat mitzvahs, reunions, anniversaries, corporate retreats and many other functions.

 

What is the maximum number of guests for an event?

The maximum persons that the barn can accommodate inside is 160 persons. The maximum number of persons can be increased to approximately 200 persons with seating available on the outside first floor deck overlooking the streams, pond and waterfall. The maximum number of guests can be increased to approximately 250 persons with an outside tent. Any event exceeding the indoor capacity of 160 persons will be subject to additional fees to rent additional chairs, tables and tents and any outdoor heating systems.

 

What is the capacity of the Event/Guest Suites?

The maximum persons are 2 persons per each suite for sleeping accommodations, which have 2 queen-size beds. Both suites have private bathrooms. The additional suite has a mini-kitchen, microwave, bar, satellite TV and internet. The guest suite has a full kitchen with stove, microwave, bar, full refrigerator, satellite TV and internet. Both suites open to a second-floor deck that overlooks the streams, pond, waterfall and landscape beyond.

 

What time must my event finish?

Our standard rental is from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (9:00 p.m. on weekdays). The event may be extended until 12:00 midnight on Friday and Saturday with payment of an additional fee.

 

Can we play music?

Both live and recorded music is permitted; however, the volume must be maintained at a level deemed acceptable by HHFR. Amplified music must be over by 9:00 p.m. on weekdays and 10:00 p.m. on weekends, however indoor reception and acoustic music can continue until 12:00 p.m. if an additional rental fee is arranged with HHFR.

 

Will we need to hire portable restrooms?

For smaller-sized events and weddings, three indoor restrooms are available. For larger events, outdoor porta-toilets with sinks, running water, hand dryers and other amenities with several options are available for an additional fee.

 

Do you include items such as chairs and tables in your packages?

Our packages include chairs and tables for 160 guests, plus set up and take down of chairs and tables.

 

Is parking available?

We provide on-site parking for guests and vendors including an overflow parking area for larger events and vehicles. Guests must park in the main parking areas across Enders Avenue from the house and barn. Parking areas near the barn are reserved for the wedding party, staff and vendors.

 

Do you provide wedding planning, catering or event coordination services?

Yes! Please see information about our Event Coordination Services. We also have a full catering kitchen for rental to outside caterers and for use by special event cooridinator.Guests have the option to hire their own caterers or use our catering services, which is run by an independent catering company.
